CRN Recognizes Sycomp Channel Leaders on the 2024 Women of the Channel List

Foster City, CA, May 14, 2024 – Sycomp A Technology Company, Inc., announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Dawn McCale, Global Director of Sales for Sycomp, as a 2024 Women of the Channel Power 100 Solution Provider—an elite subset of prominent leaders selected from the CRN® 2024 Women of the Channel list. McCale is an accomplished sales executive, helping global organizations tackle business and technology solutions and working with the leading partners in systems, storage, networking and cloud.

In addition, CRN recognized the following Sycomp channel leaders on the Women of the Channel list for 2024:

Sycomp Celebrates 30th Anniversary and Opens New Integration Center in Ireland    

FOSTER CITY, Calif., April 2, 2024 — Sycomp A Technology Company, Inc., announced today that the company is celebrating its 30th anniversary and expanding its global IT services and logistics operation with the opening of its new European warehouse and Integration Center (IC) in Dublin, Ireland. Sycomp started as a local value-added reseller (VAR) in 1994 and has since grown into a global solutions provider helping customers deliver complex IT projects in more than 150 countries.

“We are very proud and honored to say we’ve been in business for 30 years, having grown organically in a very competitive technology marketplace and staying true to our mission of helping our customers solve many challenging projects,” said Michael Symons, CEO of Sycomp. “Our European expansion underscores our achievements, builds our service and support for our multi-national customers, and extends our growth trajectory.” 

Sycomp’s new Ireland location includes a state-of-the-art Integration Center, logistics and warehousing facilities, customer and partner meeting space, and it will serve as a European hub for the company. In addition to the new Ireland location, Sycomp has Integration Centers in Burlingame, Calif., Miami, Brazil, China, Singapore, Philippines, and India. Each center enables Sycomp’s certified engineers to configure, integrate and test customers’ systems before shipping, removing complexities and providing a seamless customer implementation.

Sycomp Receives Canalys North America Candefero Sustainability Partner of the Year Award

FOSTER CITY, Calif.Dec. 7, 2023 — Sycomp A Technology Company, Inc., was recognized for its environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices and presented with Canalys’ Candefero Sustainability Partner of the Year Award at Canalys’ inaugural North America Forum held in Palm Springs, California in November. Canalys is an independent analyst company and recognized global leader in market intelligence, research analysis, and consulting services, and hosts channel forums for partners, distributors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). 

“Sycomp supports customers’ sustainability initiatives through lifecycle managed services and its commitment to ESG goals. Its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validation underscores the company’s strides in sustainable operations,” said Rachel Brindley, Senior Director of Channels at Canalys.  “Moreover, as a minority, woman-owned business, Sycomp champions diversity, with a 40 percent female workforce and active involvement in the Salesforce Historically Black Colleges and Universities Procurement Internship Program.”

Sycomp’s Chief Operating Officer, Neal Callahan, received the award on behalf of Sycomp and led a panel discussion focused on sustainability at the event.

The EcoVadis assessment includes 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. In their latest rating, which was completed in May 2023, Sycomp earned a Silver Medal and scored a 66, which places Sycomp in the top 89 percent globally.
