Having met its 2021 sustainability goals, including implementing a sustainability management solution for carbon emissions and submitting emissions reduction targets to the SBTi, Sycomp has set new goals for 2023 to 2025. These goals aim to reduce carbon emissions by 38% by 2030 from the 2021 baseline. Key initiatives include installing solar power at the Miami Integration Center, collaborating with technology partners to expand trade-in programs supporting the circular economy, exploring sustainable packaging solutions, and partnering with logistics suppliers that use electric vehicles or sustainable aviation fuel.
To support customer engagement in e-waste reduction, Sycomp offers programs for its customers including Trade-In Made Easy (TIME) with Apple and Cisco products, as well as IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services to help organizations manage the secure and environmentally friendly disposal of retired and outdated IT assets.
