A global medical device manufacturer needed to modernize its security and networking environment to better support its operations and continued growth. Its existing solution was falling short of expectations, with high renewal costs, inadequate support and a fragmented SD-WAN environment creating unnecessary complexity and placing additional demands on internal IT resources.

Sycomp worked closely with Fortinet engineering to lead a proof of concept that demonstrated how the manufacturer could consolidate security and networking capabilities onto a single Fortinet platform. The integrated architecture combined FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer to deliver secure SD-WAN, advanced firewall protection, centralized management, and enhanced reporting and visibility.
