Storing business-critical application data on local physical servers only put the company at risk of potential data loss in the event of building outages or file corruption.
Solution:
By carefully evaluating SyTech’s current storage and backup strategy, Sycomp recommended Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) paired with Sycomp’s services team to architect, implement and manage their backup environment. Company books are backed up to Amazon S3 with versioning. In the event of file corruptions on the local server, versioning allows the client to revert to latest version in Amazon S3 and restore file data instantly.
