From reducing emissions and investing in climate action to supporting employees and communities worldwide, Sycomp continues to advance its commitment to responsible, sustainable growth.

At Sycomp, “Technology Means the World” is more than a reflection of the global nature of our business. It represents a responsibility to the people, communities and environments touched by our operations.

Our newly published 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report highlights the progress we made over the past year and the work that continues as we pursue sustainable growth, responsible business practices and positive impact around the world.

Operating across 55+ countries and delivering solutions to more than 150 countries in 2025 gives Sycomp a truly global footprint. With that reach comes an opportunity to make ESG considerations an increasingly integrated part of how we operate, engage our supply chain, support our people and serve our customers.

Building on Our Environmental Commitments

Reducing our environmental impact remains a major focus of Sycomp’s ESG strategy. In 2025, we continued working toward our emissions-reduction goals while expanding the scope, accuracy and transparency of our environmental reporting.

Sycomp continued using Salesforce Net Zero Cloud to track and report carbon emissions and engaged KERAMIDA, a CDP-approved solution provider, to provide independent limited assurance of our 2025 greenhouse gas inventory covering Scope 1, Scope 2 and selected Scope 3 categories. We also continued working toward our goal of reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions 38% by 2030 from our 2021 base year.

Across our operations, sustainability efforts range from renewable energy and solar power to more sustainable packaging, recycling, e-waste management and circular economy programs. In 2025 alone, the solar installation at our Burlingame Integration Center and Warehouse generated 47.77 MWh of power, bringing its lifetime production to more than 253 MWh.

Investing in Climate Action Around the World

Reducing emissions within our own operations is only part of the equation. Sycomp also invests in high-quality environmental projects designed to address residual emissions and support climate action globally.

For 2025, Sycomp partnered with CNaught to purchase Renewable Energy Certificates covering Scope 2 emissions as well as 1,734 tonnes of carbon credits covering Scope 1 and selected Scope 3 emissions.

Those carbon credits support a diversified portfolio of projects around the world, including methane leak repair in Bangladesh, landfill gas capture and energy generation in Turkey and China, landfill gas recovery in Brazil, orphaned oil well methane abatement in Louisiana, and regenerative farming in India.

The impact translates into some meaningful equivalents: Sycomp's carbon credit investment represents a climate impact comparable to approximately:

  • 28,661 new trees planted
  • 378 cars taken off the road for a year
  • 219 homes' annual energy use
  • 4,308 flights from Los Angeles to New York

Creating Impact Beyond Carbon

Sycomp’s ESG commitment extends well beyond environmental sustainability. Our 2025 report also highlights continued investment in our employees, suppliers and communities.

Among the year's milestones:

  • 93% employee retention in 2025, reflecting Sycomp’s continued focus on culture, career development and employee well-being.
  • More than $191,000 donated globally through Sycomp’s Do Good Program, supporting organizations and initiatives focused on education, opportunity, health and community needs.
  • $5.5 million spent with diverse suppliers, a 16% increase from the previous year.
  • 100% completion of global anti-harassment and Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption training, reinforcing Sycomp's commitment to ethical and responsible business practices.
  • Continued investment in educational opportunities, including programs supporting underserved students and young people in the U.S. and India.

These efforts complement Sycomp’s broader alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:

  • Quality Education
  • Decent Work and Economic Growth
  • Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
  • Responsible Consumption and Production.

Continuing the Journey

ESG is an ongoing commitment. Sycomp’s 2025 report reflects both the progress we have made and the areas where we continue to raise the bar: from expanding Scope 3 emissions reporting and strengthening supplier ESG practices to reducing waste, increasing participation in e-waste programs and pursuing greater use of renewable energy across our global operations.

As technology continues to transform businesses and communities around the world, we believe responsible growth requires looking beyond what technology can accomplish to consider the impact of how it is delivered.
